This statement describes what data is processed when you visit this website. The processing of patient data at the practice is governed by health law and professional confidentiality and is not covered here.

The Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) applies and, where relevant, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Opening a page records the technical access data your browser transmits automatically: IP address, date and time, the address requested, browser type and operating system. This data serves the operation and security of the website and is not used to identify individual visitors.

The website runs on Vercel, its content comes from a content management system operated by NETNODE AG. Data may therefore also be processed outside Switzerland. All traffic is encrypted (TLS).

This website sets no cookies for analytics or advertising and does not measure visitor behaviour. Neither Google Analytics nor comparable tools are in use.

A single technical cookie is set when practice staff sign in to edit content. It serves that sign-in only.

The fonts used are delivered together with the website. Opening a page therefore creates no connection to external font providers.

The location pages embed a map. Map tiles are loaded from CARTO, based on OpenStreetMap data. Your IP address is transmitted to that provider — technically necessary for the map to be displayed.

The «Get directions» link leads to Google Maps. From that click onwards, Google’s privacy terms apply.

Where a video is embedded, it is played through Vimeo. It is embedded in do-not-track mode: Vimeo sets no tracking cookies and does not evaluate viewing behaviour. Your IP address is transmitted to Vimeo when the video loads.

The website offers forms for appointment requests, emergencies and the orthodontic medical history. Depending on the form, you provide your name, contact details and information about your request; the medical history form also asks about your health.

A submitted form is sent by email to the practice location you selected and handled there. Nothing is stored on the web server, and there is no database of form submissions. Email delivery runs through cyon GmbH in Basel. If you provide an email address, you receive a confirmation of your entry.

Health information is sensitive personal data. It is used solely to handle your request and is not passed on to third parties. Submitting the form constitutes consent to this processing. The practice keeps the submission for as long as handling the request and any legal obligations require.

Your data is not sold and not passed on for advertising purposes. It is disclosed only where necessary to handle your request or where the law requires it.

You have the right to obtain information about the data processed about you, and to have it corrected, deleted or its processing restricted. You may withdraw consent at any time. Please write to info@deleurant.ch. Proof of identity may be requested before a request for information is answered.
